This is fantastic ! I love that disturbing stare she has, almost looking ill or insane... as usual you are a perfect psychological portraitist as well !

Kat, this is completely different direction and it is glorious!!! It is so wonderful to see you rpogress in your art, it is almost like watching butterfly evolve.:-) I am so very happy you started to study illustration design because it would be silly to rely on your talent alone. Like any talent it needs further advancement and mastering and you are already so far ahead on being brillinat!

mmm...this woman looks like someone
who is entrenched in her own
hautiness, perhaps an expatriate,
who now finds herself, older -yes
& downsized to a studio apartment
forced to actually work if only
parttime & horror of horrors
is learning to cook due to lack
of funds - however, she retains
her good clothes and excellent
grace & manners.
